Haiti - Daily Life

City of Port-au-Prince
A city designed for a few hundred thousand but has a population of more than 2,000,000 people.

Water
Because of a lack of public infrastructure, fresh water is not abundant. People must walk to centralized wells to get water every day.

The Housing
Most of the houses are made from concrete blocks, but many live in homes built from tin with dirt floors.

Their Diet
Mostly rice and beans, with some chicken and goat, if they are lucky.
